I’m Alicia Bradley and I’ve been a birder for exactly one and and a half years. My training comes from the fantastic birding group at Big Morongo Canyon Preserve in Morongo Valley, CA, where I lived for one short year. I now live outside St. Louis, MO, where I get to enjoy a whole new set of species.
This blog is just a smathering of my life as a birder. Most of the posts will be about birds, but some of them won’t. A lot of it will be my ramblings-on about the world I see around me, and how I am continuously amazed by Creation.
The title of this blog is the nickname that was given me by a BMCP birding friend for my weirdo ability to spot swooping White-throated Swifts before anyone else.
I love taking photos of the birds I see, but I, in NO WAY, claim to be a great nature photographer. Sometimes I just get lucky.
I hope you enjoy!
